The high-level functions such as making the virtual character speak using speech synthesis or real-time lip sync are achieved easily with very few lines of code using high-level classes. At the same time, visage|SDK™ provides extremely powerful mechanisms for extending or customizing animation, deformation, rendering and file input/output at almost any level, putting great freedom and power in the hands of the developer.

Creating virtual characters: visage|life™ enables fast preparation of virtual characters for real-time animation. Both full-body bone-rigged characters and head-and-shoulders models are supported. visage|life™ automatically creates the full set of facial animation morph targets for facial models created in any 3D modelling tool. For full-body models, 3ds max™ Bipeds are exported from max to visage|life, where morph targets for the face are automatically added, resulting in characters fully equipped for facial and body animation.
